Congenital eyelid benign lesions rarely needs treatment, unless it affects the one’s vision. Usually corticosteroids injection into hemangioma lesion is effective, but also an incision may be necessary. Benign eyelid lesions usually cause beauty problems more than visual ones. Surgical excision or electrocauter initially is done with cosmetic purposes unless the lesion type is Molluscum Contagiosum. In this cases the surgery is done to prevent infection progress.
