Successful surgery of a 23-year-old female jaw tumor

According to Webda News, the director of the jaw and facial surgery department at the university said: "There have been about 5 similar surgeries in the last two years in North Khorasan, but the scope of this surgery was much wider that was completed  for the first time in the city

Dr Ali Aghaei added: The patient had been diagnosed with facial swelling and pain for the past 6 months

He said: After diagnosis of the tumor in the patient's jaw, biopsy was done and because of the lack of type of plaque that had to be replaced the jaw ,it considered to be provided

 

"Fortunately, with the follow-up and coordination, the required plaque was prepared and  tumor was completely removed  during the tumor operation," he said
"The patient's condition is very good at ICU," he said, adding that the operation took about 5.5 hours.
"Everyone should have an Opj x-ray every 5 to 5 years to ensure the health of the jaw and the roots of the tooth and to follow up if they feel pain or symptoms," Dr. Aghaei said.
