Counseling and Mental Health Department

Counseling and Mental Health Department is the place in which below services are delivered in the framework of triple prevention levels:

1. Counseling and guidance in social, relationship, moral, cultural, mental and behavioral issues

2. Counseling and guidance in the fields of educational, occupational, marital and family issues

3. Psychometrics in the field of psychological problems and performing psychological tests (Diagnostic, personality, intelligence, …)

4. Psychotherapy (assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental problems)

5. Training, informing and raising awareness (holding life skills workshops, pre marriage counseling training, training study skills and preventing drug abuse, etc.)

6. Psychiatry

7. Social work

This department is located in the office of vice-chancellery for students and cultural affairs and delivers counseling services in the office hours. Counseling offices are located in the male/female dormitories and schools; their working agenda is announced to the students at the beginning of each term. Students can also call +989157680038 from 7 A.M. to 12 P.M. to receive counseling services in case they need.
