Journal of Medicinal Plants and Natural Products, is a quarterly peer-reviewed journal for the publication of original research papers, short communications, reviews and letters on medicinal plant (extracts or isolated constituents) research.

The first issue of theJournal of Medicinal Plants and Natural Products will be published in October 2016 and the editorial team is calling for high quality submissions on a variety of herbal studies, including, but not limited to:

· Biological, pharmacological and toxicological evaluations of medicinal plants and their isolated constituents, in vitro and in vivo.

· Chemical analysis and characterization of medicinal plants and extraction and purification of natural products.

· Traditional medicine (ethnomedicine) focusing on ethnobotanyand ethnopharmacology of herbal therapeutics, phytomedicine and herbal preparations.

· Application of medicinal plants in healthcare, clinical trials and pilot studies.

Editorial Policy:Following a double-blind review process, theJournal of Medicinal Plants and Natural Products editorial office will send the reports of two referees and a decision letter to the corresponding authors. Manuscripts will be judged based on the scientific novelty and contribution to the field, quality and subject matter.

Authors should also submit Cover letters affirming that the manuscript submitted to Medicinal herb and natural product is new and original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Also, all authors must declare any potential conflict of interest and all financial support.
