The patient should be fast, after some laboratory tests the surgery will start. Pyeloplasty surgery is performed under general anesthesia. It's done through three small incision (1cm) made in the abdomen. A telescope and small instruments are inserted into the abdomen through these keyhole incision, which allows surgeon to repair the obstruction/stricture without having to place his/her hands into the abdomen.
